Breakfast and lunch will still be available to all students; however, they are not free to all students. Families need to complete the Free and Reduced price Family Application to qualify for free or reduced-price meals. Click Here for the application. A new application must be completed every year. The students who do not qualify for free or reduced-price meals must pay full price for breakfast and lunch:

Breakfast Lunch

K-5 $1.50 $2.75

6-12 $1.75 $3.00

Those who qualify for Reduced price       $0.30 $0.40

What are the different meal options available at each building?

We do offer alternate meals daily at each of the buildings.

  • Elementary buildings offer an Uncrustable Sandwich in place of the main entree daily.

  • The Middle school offers Chef Salads, Uncrustable Meal Kits and Sub Sandwich Meal Kits in addition to the Main Lunch and Ala Carte Meal.

  • The High School has several options as well! They offer the Main Lunch, Ala Carte Line, Sub Shop, Chef Salads, Uncrustable Meal Kit and other grab and go options. We encourage the high school students to take advantage of our “pre order” email. subshop@mybvls.org  By pre-ordering their Sub, Wrap, Uncrustable Meal Kit, or Salad, no later than 9:00am that day, we will have their lunch ready and waiting for them so they don’t have to wait in the lines! They just need to go to the registers and pick them up!

Can students still purchase a la carte items at school?

Yes! Students remain welcome to purchase a la carte items (extra main entrees, water, milk, beverages and limited snacks.) Prices range from $.50-$2.50. All snacks are “Smart Snack” approved.

How do I put Money on my student’s account if allowed to purchase a la carte items?

Parents are encouraged to put money in their child's account by using Payschoolscentral.com instead of sending cash to cut down on money exchanging hands.

Where can I find the school menus for breakfast and lunch?

Menus may be viewed at myschoolmenus.com.  This interactive menu also allows parents and students to obtain nutritional information and allergen information as well.
