Buckeye Valley Transportation

Twenty-four million children ride 440,000 school buses every day. On average, students spend 90 minutes each weekday in a school bus. School buses across America are driven more than 4 billion miles each year. In Ohio, 20,000 buses transport more than 1 millon students daily.

The Buckeye Valley Local School District is 204 square miles in area. Buckeye Valley transports 2,000 students a half million miles each year with a fleet of approximately 30 buses. There are 25 daily double routes transporting BV students to one high school, one middle school, and two elementary schools.

The district's goal is to make student's transportation to and from school a non-event so are able to properly prepare for their time at school. There are policies and guidelines to help in this endeavor.  The guidelines can be found in the  Student Transportation Handbook.

Delaware County Property Search

The Delaware County Auditor has an online interactive property database that allows county residents to can determine whether their property is within the Buckeye Valley Local School District. Searches may be done by parcel number, owner, or address. Estimates of property valuations and tax rate are also available.
