Please Note:  Due to a new state law, students who turn 5 by the first day of school in August of 2026 are eligible to enroll.

Current BVLS PRESCHOOL Families--You do not need to complete the Registration for Kindergarten if your student is currently attending BVLS Preschool and will be starting Kindergarten in the 2024-2025 school year.  You will be contacted in April to refresh your existing ParentSqauare Parent Forms.

Registration for the 2025-26 School Year is Now Open

To enroll your student for the 2025-26 School year, please create an account and submit the form below.

We ask that families COMPLETE the Enrollment Process by signing all forms, and uploading Proof of Residency, Birth Certificate, and all Court Documentation within 10 buisness days of starting the registration process.  If you have any questions, please contact the Central Office Registrar at: 740-369-8735.

2026-27 PreK Peer Model Programming Change:

Families interested in the Baron’s Early Learning Preschool Peer Model Program for the 2026–27 school year should be aware that the online waitlist sign-up is now open. Peer model spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage families to sign up promptly.

Important Updates for Next Year:

• Children ages 4 and 5 may be accepted into the program.

• PM classes will be offered to children who will be Kindergarten-eligible the following school year.

• AM classes will be reserved for children who are 4 years old.

• To be eligible for the AM class, children must turn 4 years old on or before the first day of the 2026-2027 school year.

If your child is currently enrolled as a peer model and will remain in preschool another year, no action is needed. They will automatically continue in the program for the next school year.

Open Enrollment Registration for the 2026-2027 School Year
is Now Closed

Buckeye Valley Local Schools offers open enrollment to families who do not reside within the district boundaries.  It is offered one time a year, and based on space and availability, families must apply every year.  The Open Enrollment Window for the 2026-27 ended on March 6, 2026.  Open Enrollment was completed through Final Forms HERE.  The online application, as well as all required documentation (Proof of Residency), needs to be uploaded, signed, and completed by the deadline.  Applications that are incomplete or received outside of this enrollment window will not be accepted.

Families will be contacted in April to let you know if your child(ren) has been accepted for open enrollment at BVLS.     Please contact Mary Barr at 740-369-8735 if you have any questions.

In Ohio, a parent may request early admission to kindergarten if the child turns five years of age after the District's kindergarten entrance date.  Buckeye Valley Local Schools has chosen August 1st as its Kindergarten entrance date.  To learn more, please review the BV Early Entrance Parent Guide below.
