Constructing Excellence: The BV Middle School Addition

Based on the district's enrollment projection data for 2023–2033, Buckeye Valley Local Schools is preparing for a significant increase in the student population. The "Decade of Growth" slide outlines the following key data points:
Enrollment & Growth Projections

Total Student Increase: Enrollment is projected to grow from 2,310 students in the 2023-24 school year to 2,980 students by 2032-33.

Growth Percentage: The district expects a 29% overall increase in the student body over the next decade.

Capacity Milestone: Some schools within the district are projected to exceed their optimal capacity before 2030.
Secondary School Surge

High School Peak: Significant growth is concentrated at the high school level (Grades 9–12), particularly in the latter half of the decade.

Grade 9 Spike: There is a projected 75% increase in Grade 9 enrollment alone, with the class size jumping from 159 students to 278 students.

Early Childhood Stability: In contrast to the secondary surge, Pre-K and Kindergarten numbers are projected to remain relatively flat.
